MLM marketing also known as networking, is one of the modern ways of doing business. It is also referred to as word of mouth and is a system of moving products directly from the manufacturer to the consumer.
Buying direct from the manufacturer in this kind of business means the products are cheaper due to eliminating the middle man. Therefore, the sales person can sell at a higher dollar amount and make a profit. The sales person should not be greedy by selling at an unrealistic amount because other recruits of the company may be selling lower and their customers might feel cheated.
Those involved in the network have to build a strong team that will grow its numbers by prospecting would be business partners. The new recruits should be able to meet a quota set by the company they work for as well sell the product to meet a required dollar amount. These individuals who join are provided with brochures and training materials to prepare them for cold selling. Most companies have introduced sales plans that help the network to achieve its goals. They include incentives and bonuses which are paid out depending on what each worker has achieved.
Many people see this type of sales as a pyramid scheme where only the executive individuals of the company profit from the business. It is therefore is difficult for a sales person to convince a potential recruit on joining due to the negative stereotypes associated with this line of business.
When approaching individuals to join the company it is important to have a positive outlook about the products and also provide samples for people to try. Then if the try and like them they might join or influence their family members and friends to buy the products.
MLM marketing is not for every one and individuals should not expect to get rich overnight. Laying out a plan on how to make the biggest profit is important if one is going to make it in this business.
