It's August of 2011 and I've just come back to Brisbane in Australia. I noticed a couple of things straight away while driving back from the airport. The once green country side had turned dry and stark. It had not rained for months and Mother Nature had moved the rain clouds away from the Sun State as Queensland is thought to be.

But what was more startling was the plain fact I saw the clouds of despair over people now in Brisbane. I just heard that Qantas, Australia's national flight carrier had plans of laying off a thousand folk nationally over Australia. I also realized the once thriving small enterprise sector was suffering with the "GFC" that commenced in 2009. The World Financial Crisis has left a path of fiscal difficulty, topped up by the flood disaster seen in Brisbane in Jan 2011 having left the entire town fighting. Many home entrepreneurs are up against the wall attempting to pay landlords the rent. This financial discomfort was everywhere.

Debt is rising fast with business accounts not being paid in time. These business owners are so obsessed with paying their bills that they are reluctant to take a look at options right now. Families are struggling and not spending as much as they ought to be in their communities. Rising petrol costs and food cost are adding to the financial stress. Money is simply not being moved around.

Is Making Extra Money So Troublesome? The query on many people's minds in Brisbane is the easy way to make extra money while still holding down a regular job or keeping business ticking. They need to do this while making an attempt to keep the banks from fore closing on their properties. The toughest problem is they simply don't appear to have the energy to look else where in-spite of options open to them.

These options on making extra income are comparatively simple though might not be as simple. Why is this so?

The reason being the general public either are too fixed in their paths to need to change or feel they simply do not have the power to do something outside their special field. As jobs aren't in abundance, people must be flexible. Most people are too comfy in the so called comfortable area to bother hunting for work. They rather just whinge about the system and blame everyone else than take action to change their financial circumstances.

I actually feel folks would like to modify but its the fear of failure that stops them. It's all about losing face if they are seen to be regarded as a failure.

But isn't "Failure" part of success or the stepping stone to success.

How else can one move ahead if we do not give opportunity a go. I would recommend that everybody should give life a go and try. Unless you try you won't ever know if you can win at something. How else could you change you present situation and make additional cash to repay pending bills if you don't give yourself the opportunity to change.
