If you have searched for a business opportunity online to increase your income, no doubt, you have found many hyped up, too good to be true opportunities. Network marketing can be a fantastic opportunity for the average person and it comes down to a few good reasons.

MLM Affordability

If you have ever thought about starting your own business and then taken the next step to find out what you would need to do, you may have become disheartened and have thought that raising the capital necessary to start you own business was nearly an impossible task. You may have even checked out a few of those franchise "opportunities" that so many have talked about.

Most successful and well branded franchises cost a LOT of money to get involved with, some costing in the tens of thousands of dollars, to others running in the hundreds of thousands of dollars - keep in mind, this doesn't come with a guarantee of success!

This is a great opportunity that anyone should take advantage of, because most people that want to start a home business really don't have a lot of experience with running a business, so it's always good to find a group of mentors to help guide your through the uncharted waters, so to speak.

For me, the number one reason to join a network marketing company has always been the payoff of developing a passive income. When I first was introduced to network marketing this is really what put my enthusiasm on steroids.

A network marketing company that is dedicated to helping the distributor force (and there are some criteria that you need to establish to make sure you are dealing with a company set up this way) will have members already living the "passive income dream."

Enough cannot be said about the development of an income that you no longer have to do anything to earn. It is the mantra of all network marketers that if you build it, if you work your plan then one day you will have checks coming in while you are on vacation! Now that IS exciting!
