Multilevel Marketing - If You Lived To Be 950 Years Old

If I live to be as old as Noah, (that's 950 years, according to the Bible), I think my Social Security benefits will long since have disappeared from existence. But the residual income from my network marketing business should be huge! Who lives that long, right? According to the latest scientific opinion though...If I live to be as old as Noah, (that's 950 years, according to the Bible), I think my Social Security benefits will long since have disappeared from existence. But the residual income from my network marketing business should be huge! Who lives that long, right? According to the latest scientific opinion though...
I was busy just a while ago reading The Gary Halbert Letter, just boning up on some advertising tips, and I somehow came across a July 4, 2011 news story from Yahoo! News. Probably something caught my eye over in the right sidebar, (you know how that can happen). Get this...
"Who wants to live forever? Scientist sees aging cured"
(Health insurance companies are gonna love this)
"LONDON (Reuters) - If Aubrey de Grey's predictions are right, the first person who will live to see their 150th birthday has already been born. And the first person to live for 1,000 years could be less than 20 years younger. "
"I'd say we have a 50/50 chance of bringing aging under what I'd call a decisive level of medical control within the next 25 years or so," de Grey said in an interview before delivering a lecture at Britain's Royal Institution academy of science."
Since the scientist is estimating these numbers, I'm using 950 years--the first thing that entered my mind was Noah, (you know--in the Bible), 950 years old when he left Genesis. In any case it's a lot of years for you network marketing business to grow.
Thanks, I thought you'd never ask. So here's the deal...
Relationships are going to have to be built. You need 'em. I need 'em. We all need relationships. I now it seems possible, at least to the before-quoted scientist, that we'll be giving new meaning to the phrase "long-term" relationships.
So let's start thinking in network marketing terms here. Is forming relationships going to be any different if we are building them to last for centuries? Do we have to take any new factors into consideration? Are there different skills we have to have to build relationships that will last that long?
If you do it right the first time, the answers are "no," "no," and "I don't think so." What you need to consider is this: how can you create friendships that will last forever? Those friends, and, hopefully, the ones you already have will always be friends. And they will be your customers for life. Now that's a network!
All of the above being said, what is the potential if the time-frame is actually extended 900 or so years? This scientist actually proposed his lifespan thoughts to a peer group! It's time to expand your "big picture" thinking. What could your new goals be?
The most interesting thought that comes to my mind, (the "numbers guy" mentality is kicking in), is this: at what point in the time-line will I have to find another planet and coincident population to market to in order to grow my ridiculously astronomical downline? I don't think the the present world population is going to be enough.
(Goodness gracious, my thoughts have just about gone off the rails!)
Long term thinking for your network marketing business can have huge and exciting effects right now. We can be better prepared for the future as it develops.
