Things You Can Do To Make Your Office Chair Softer

If you have ever worked in an office before then you know just how important having a very comfortable office chair can be to your production at work. We all know that our bosses aren't going to let us bring a couch or a recliner into the office so our only choice is to make the one chair that we have more comfortable.
What you need to do if you don't want to sit in a hard and back hurting chair is to simply add a little extra padding to your chair. One of the things most people try to do is they put a small pillow or a blanket on the cushion but what happen is it normally starts to stink and eventually the pillow or blanket will get pressed down so far that it won't be helping you at all.
What you need to do is get a lumbar support cushion for your back and an extra seat cushion for your bottom. The nice thing about using both of these things is it will help out your back quite a bit and at the same time it will take some of the pressure off your tail bone.
Another thing you can do to make your office chair more comfortable is to soften the armrests. What most people don't understand is softening the arm rest is not as easy as you might think and the reason is because you have to find a store that sells padding in long rolls (snake pads). The nice thing is you can find these online for a very affordable price but you will need to wait for them to be shipped to you. What you need to understand is that even though you will have to wait for them they will make a big difference when they finally get to you.
When it comes to making your office chair more comfortable just remember that you can either work with what you have or you can buy yourself a new chair. If I were you I would just buy a new chair because when will you have the time to put a bunch of padding on your office chair and maintain it. Another thing I would recommend doing is asking your boss to buy the chair for you, the reason why this works is because your boss will want to see a lot of production out of you and the best way to make this happen is to give you the little things that you ask for.
