Cookies are a favorite treat for all kids. There is nothing quite like dipping a fresh-baked cookie into a frosty glass of milk. Many people grow up in families that enjoy cookies on special occasions. I remember when I was a kid. I enjoyed making delicious chocolate chip cookies with my grandmother. From Cook Jar to Gift Box
When I was a child, the house often smelled of oven-fresh cookies. Those cookies that weren't gobbled up right away were stored in a beautiful glass cookie jar. My grandmother did most of the baking, so after she passed away we rarely had homemade cookies. Fortunately, my parents continued to satisfy my sweet tooth by purchasing tins of store-bought cookies. After some time, my mother discovered that we had acquired a surprising number of cookie jars and tins. In fact, we had nearly fifty of them.
Many of these cookie jars were made of tin or other metals. Lots of them were glass. My mom intended to recycle them. However, I decided I wanted to keep these collectible cookie jars as my own. I decided to start a cookie jar collection. Whenever I found a new cookie jar, I would add it to my growing collection. Eventually, my extended family discovered that I was on the lookout for collectible cookie jars. They started to contributed to my collection whenever they could.
I started out storing my collectible cookie jars in my room. Unfortunately, my collection quickly outgrew this space. Luckily, my father offered to make me a beautiful display case for my jars. This allowed me to continue expanding my collection. It didn't take long before I had hundreds of collectible cookie jars. They were made of an astounding array different materials: plastic, metal, tin, paper, and glass. The collection became quite impressive.
It didn't take long for my collection to become well known. Kids from my school knew about it. My relatives and neighbors came to our house to see it. A friend of mine fell in love with one of my collectible cookie jars and offered to buy it for a few dollars. I agreed and she used it as a beautiful gift box. Soon other people began to buy cookie jars from me.
I started to make some pretty good money selling my collectible cookie jars. I had such a wide assortment and so many people seemed to like them. This led me to eventually start a business specializing in gift boxes. It wasn't too hard because I already had a great collection to start from. It didn't take long before I started to ear real money. Who could have guessed that my childhood hobby would grow into a career?
