The biggest problem with being self employed isn't finding a way to make money it is you, your attitude, and your perception of being self employed.

Before I give you some ideas on making money, where and how to get started let us discuss the biggest problem. Most people in this world work for someone else. They are use to a schedule, a weekly paycheck, benefits, and the daily drudgery of going to work. You feel like you do all the work and someone else is making all the money after you see your paycheck each week. You are actually seeing the truth, you will never make a lot of money working for someone else.

The problem comes when you try to be self employed. Everything you expect and were taught in school, college, and the work place is how to work for someone else. You have never been trained how to work for yourself. Everything you expect in the work place you won't get being self employed. You won't get a weekly paycheck, get benefits, or a schedule to follow. You won't be told what job to do or how to do it. Everything will depend on you and instead of that small raise you might get yearly, how much you make a year depends on you.

Things you can expect being self employed. Paying your own taxes, getting pay when things are done like products sold or services completed, and never having a schedule to follow but still having to get the work done. You have to be a self starter and you can't ever quit or give up. You will work more than forty hours a week for a long time before you are making enough to cut back on hours. If you really love being self employed you will start work more than forty hours a week anyway.

Ideas for making money online and off. These are proven ideas they do work but they won't work unless you put in the work and dedication to let them work.

Starting on online business selling products. Start an office service where you sub-contract work from companies. Offer a service like cleaning, lawn work, repair service. Start a restaurant, best start small. Consulting service, any field use the skills you have in working for someone else.

Take your hobby or past-time an turn it into a business. For example, making fishing lures, raising animals, or cooking.

Those are just a few to get you started. The point, come up with a list of the things you are skilled at, enjoy doing, or want to do. Pick the one you love more than anything and create a business from it. Then when you start your business set goals on how much money you want to make a day from it and work to reach that goal. Once you reach the goal, set it a little higher and then before you know it you will be making more money than your friends still working at your last job.
