More than likely, we have pondered the phenomenon of Direct Sales not working well enough to allow folks to add to their current income. Many times, individuals start learning how to grow a business from home and later find they have been frauded. Fraud hurts. In the past, I was curious as to the reasons this took place so often.

More than likely, we have pondered the phenomenon of Direct Sales not working well enough to allow folks to add to their current income. Many times, individuals start learning how to grow a business from home and later find they have been frauded. Fraud hurts. In the past, I was curious as to the reasons this took place so often.

I have no idea if the information that you are reading right now will be unsettling to you or not. After you finish reading this, I hope you go about your consideration of home businesses differently. You might be surprised by what you read. You might already know what you're about to read. No matter what side of the fence you fall on, however, I hope that you choose to take action after reading instead of simply making complaints.

To be perfectly clear, I was to write outright that I know direct sales and network marketing are not the problems. They are not the problems at all. Unfortunately, companies grow because of people. Often, the very people responsible for massive growth in a company are the very ones who run others away from the company. Most lack common courtesy and basic compassion towards others, viewing them as income instead of as human beings worthy of respect.

It's not that all successful people are like this. They are not. I am not. Still, many, many business owners do not have a good grasp on the way that people should be treated when they are looking to owners for leadership and mentoring. Everything we do should be decent and empathetic. Unfortunately, most business owners are remarkably selfish.

In the early days of your business, you shouldn't forget to put people first. Everyone deserves common courtesy. Do unto others how you would like to be "done." When there are issues that show up in your organization, don't be quick to point the finger. Instead look inside for flaws first. Provide the solution. It's possible you are the problem, and such humility will win you loyalty.

Network marketing is such a wonderful industry when done well. Direct sales is the same. People can generate great income in these industries. The problem isnt with the mlm company but with the leaders in the company.

It is going to require an attitude change on the part of business owners for the perception to change. People who need to make more money through self employment should be treated well. Until they are, our industry will suffer a bad reputation with others outside of it. When we treat people better, the industry will seem to be better.

If we could all take the time to be more mature in business, more people could see how working from home in either direct sales or network marketing is a viable option for them. Self centered attitudes have never helped anyone, and it will not start to help anyone now. Only by giving people the support they need will we be able to shift how people view the industry.
